Schedule for UO Climate Change Research Symposium, 2/17/2016

5th Annual UO Climate Change Research Symposium, February 17th, 2016:  

Aranzazu Lascurain: What Does Climate Adaptation in Natural Ecosystems Look Like? 1/25 12-1, Col 249

We are excited to bring back to campus Aranzazu Lascurain. Her talk, titled "What Does Climate Adaptation in Natural Ecosystems Look Like?”, will focus on the ways the Southeast Climate Science Center is helping to formulate climate adaptation policy in natural systems and the gap in efforts between the policy mitigation side and the natural systems adaptation side.
The seminar is scheduled for (this coming) Monday, January 25th, 12:00-1:00pm in Columbia 249.

Through this solicitation, the NW CSC is seeking innovative projects to help us assess which ecosystem components and ecological processes are most vulnerable to pronounced water deficiencies and to test or demonstrate new methods or technologies intended to lessen or adapt to the ecological impacts of drought.
